For the first time ever on CD, a complete long-unavailable session by the Archie Shepp Quintet - recorded in Rome on September 28, 1975 for the legendary Italian Horo label.
• This was the first of three sessions recorded by Shepp for the Italian label Horo, which were subsequently issued on the albums “Jazz a Confronto #27”, “Body and Soul”, “Mariamar” and “The Tradition”.
