Bernard Herrmann1911年生，美国著名电影配乐作曲家。
这部永恒的1959年阿尔弗雷德·希区柯克（Alfred Hitchcock）惊悚片作为詹姆斯·邦德（James Bond）和超现实动作冒险的大银幕世界的先驱，在接下来的几十年中为电影形式树立了新的基准。由卡里·格兰特（Cary Grant）主演的这部电影讲述了一个身处险境的人从纽约到拉什莫尔山被追捕的故事。
